Der erste Eindruck zählt? Eine Mooswand mit Logo, Hängepflanzen und Holzdielen. Und an der Ziegelwand Dutzende Polaroid-Bilder: das impulse-Team
Der Blick derjenigen, die das MachWerk betreten, richtet sich zunächst auf das gelb beschichtete hölzerne impulse-Logo vor der textilen Mooswand, dann nach oben – hinauf bis zum Giebel der Halle. Das Foyer steckt voller visueller Botschaften:
Ein Grünpflanzenvorhang aus gelb gefleckten Efeututen, der Signaturpflanze von impulse, erstreckt sich über das gesamte Foyer. Buntes Herzblatt wird die Dschungelpflanze auch genannt, da die Blätter herzförmig und gelb gesprenkelt sind. Sie ist perfekt geeignet als „Signaturpflanze“ für impulse. Alle Werte sind in und mit dieser Pflanze sichtbar: Die Leidenschaft, das symbiotische Miteinander, das Nähren anderer Lebewesen und das unverwüstliche Immer-weiter-Wachsen.
Rechterhand haben wir in drei Meter Höhe ein Netz aus gelben, grünen und türkisfarbenen Seilen aufgespannt; darunter hängt an der Wand ein Covermotiv vom Oktober 2013: Damals hatten wir Nägel so in eine Holzplatte geschlagen, dass sie sich mit roten und orangen Fäden zum Schriftzug VERNETZT EUCH verbinden ließen. Inzwischen hat sich impulse selbst zu einem Netzwerk weiterentwickelt.
Linkerhand an der Wand hängen Dutzende gerahmte Polaroid-Bilder des impulse-Teams, das inzwischen mehr als 50 Köpfe umfasst. Sie entwickeln Ideen, recherchieren, besuchen Firmen, führen Interviews, moderieren, vernetzen Unternehmer, entwickeln Module für die Akademie, organisieren Veranstaltungen, leiten Reisen, drehen Filme – oder sorgen dafür, dass impulse möglichst viel von dem, was wir sonst anderen Unternehmern empfehlen, auch selbst umsetzen.
Das Konzept für die Gestaltung des MachWerks, das wir gemeinsam mit der Unternehmerin Angelika Kölle entwickelt haben, sollte vor allem zwei Ziele erreichen: Für Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter sollte – inmitten allgegenwärtiger digitaler Kanäle – ein analoger Ankerplatz entstehen, also eine berufliche Heimat, ein Ort, zu dem man gerne immer wieder zurückkehrt. Für Kunden sollte eine sinnlich erlebbare Markenwelt entstehen – im Zusammenspiel von Licht und Farbe, Möbeln und Materialien, Pflanzen und all den Ideen, die ein Gebäude lebendig werden lässt.
