In einem offenen Bürogebäude, in dem es keine persönlichen Arbeitsplätze mehr gibt, sondern man immer wieder neu entscheidet, wo man sitzen möchte, braucht es einen zentralen Ort zum Ankommen und zum informellen Aufeinandertreffen. Das ist – neben der Klause – der Ankerplatz, wo alle Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter ihre Jacken und Mäntel aufhängen und ihre persönlichen Gegenstände im Spind verstauen können.

BERUFLICHE HEIMAT

Der Begriff „Ankerplatz“ ist nicht nur der Name dieses farbenfrohen Raums direkt neben der Klause. Er beschreibt auch die wichtige Funktion, die Büros heutzutage – inmitten allgegenwärtiger digitaler Kanäle – haben können. Wenn sie attraktiv sind und sich Teams dort wohlfühlen, können auch Büros das Gefühl einer beruflichen und emotionalen Heimat vermitteln: Sie werden zu einem analogen Ankerplatz.
